The Fab Four
Hi, this is Fox. A couple of days ago, our server and our guild turned 4 years old!
Last year, I made a pretty big post listing what was to come for the guild and for the server in the following months. It was all quiet and peaceful.

Funny enough, it was one of the last posts I have made since then. As they say, we plan, god laughs.
2024 was batshit insane.
We had several core people leaving the game, me spending so much time on the proposal plans that it took all my efforts for 2 months straight, then finding an evening job and jumping out of my own core prog then moving to a different country, losing family members, a job and everything inbetween. A lot of you went through similar radical changes both in personal and in-game lives.
All of that on top of a pretty difficult year IRL as well.
So instead of a peaceful slightly twisted path we imagined, we got this:

Despite all that, you guys managed not just to keep the guild alive, but to grow it and make sure people had fun, we had several successful HM progs, ATGs, trifecta progs, we had people soloing the guild admin activities, organising events big and small, helping each other, and welcoming both new and returning players.
I wanted to say a huge huge thank you for all of you and for this year, and despite everyone being so cool and polite about it say that I’m really sorry that I couldn’t follow up on some of my own promises.
Catching up
I want to make several things right.
DotY 2023 results
In case some of you remember, we actually had this Dodo of the Year award happening last December.
I hope it will be one of the cases of better late than never. We offered 3 categories to the community: The Role Model, someone to look up to, Progress of the Year, and Community Builder.
THe Role Model
- 1st place is shared between Tomtem and Rosa
- 2nd place belongs to Mr Tea(esz)
- 3rd place is shared again between Ducky and Gilane
Progress of the Year
- 1st place belongs to Ryan (superryan94)
- 2nd place is for Gilane
- 3rd place belongs to Ruciake
Community Builder
- With a huge margin, the 1st place here went to Rosa
- 2nd place belongs to our adorable forest raccoon Apo
- 3rd place is shared between Tobra and DragonTheTwilight
To all the winners, if you want to, please contact me on Discord, and we will arrange shipping a small souvenir to the place of your choice within December and January, and our well-trained UPS owls will deliver it where you want.

There were many other candidates who got several votes, and we are gonna repeat this experiment this year.
Just not the time it took to finalise results ๐
Raid Leading Course
Throughout the year I’ve been working on materials for the RL course, and now I have more than 130 pages of text and notes. I wanted to make it a set of videos on YouTube, then a program on some course platform, then a separate server.
We ended up launching a small website that contains all the info in an organised way. It has much more depth than I initially planned, and will be available for everyone in Q1 of 2025. If you want to join the testing team, let me know, I’ll find a way to torture you with education.

So what’s next?
We are gonna continue with our main products: All Trial Groups to get people to start raiding, and new RL opportunities to start their leading career, but now on top of that we have several people who are willing to push us through harder content and organise more social events.
We won’t plan anything grandiose for the whole year as of now, but the main idea will be to make this place comfortable not just for ESO players but also for everyone who haven’t played the game yet, or has moved on from it, expanding the social side of things as well as our Leadership program.
We have our traditional Secret Santa coming up, our traditional LotR marathon, and a ToT tournament. Check the announcement channel every now and then, you might like what you see.
The path is never straightforward, it’s branching, twisting, and there are monsters around. But hey, more monsters just means more exp gained.
Let’s go and see what 2025 has to offer!
